Smaller grape yield is expected, due to hail in the Szekszárd wine region
Due to the hail, occured on hundreds of hectares smaller grape harvest is expected, compared to last year in the Szekszárd wine region, while in the non-damaged areas quality grapes can be harvested by the farmers.
In the region of Bátaszék and Báta hail damaged the vineyards on about 550 hectares out of the 2170-hectare wine-growing region of the Szekszárd wine region – Nagy István, vineyards, President of the Bátaszék Mountain Villages told MTI. (MTI)
