Hail hit the grapes of Villány
Hail caused such damages have not seen for years in the area of Villány mountain village and Nagyharsány on Tuesday, where the grape growers, therefore, can expect an average of 15-20 percent product losses.
Spiegel Zsolt, judge of the Villány mountain village told to MTI on Wednesday, that the measuring of the damages is underway, even though the fierce winds, rain and ice of Tuesday night did not cause a catastrophic destruction. The damage of the farmers can reach the up to 200 thousand HUF damages per hectare – reports szabadfold.hu.
