The milk and meat yield of the Hungarian multicolored cattle have improved
The milk and meat yield of the Hungarian multicolored cattle are gradually improving since 2010. The Association of Hungarian Breeders is planning a genomic selection program to further improve the properties of the herd.
The number of domestic Hungarian multicolored cattle is 55 to 60 thousand for years, and eleven thousand of the 32,000 cattle held by 1,500 members of the association were involved in production control – Füller Imre, the managing director of the association told MTI. (MTI)
