Investor sentiment has improved in the euro area in September
Thanks to the the sovereign bond market intervention program of the European Central Bank, investor sentiment index improved in September for the first time since March in the euro zone – the Berlin-based Sentix economy research institute announced on Monday.
The monthly compiled Sentix sentiment index improved in September to -23.2 points from the -30.3 points of August. Analysts forecasted -30.7 points.
The index in April was -14.7, in May -24.5 and in June it was -29.6 points. The September index value indicates that the investment profession looks less gloomy towards the next six months as a month earlier. (MTI)
