Improved profitability in the agricultural sector
Due to the continuously expanding output in agriculture that reached a record in 2015, as well as due to the rising agricultural subsidies, the profitability of the sector, has increased as well as the number of employees and the prospects have improved also – the Minister of State responsible for agriculture said on Wednesday at the opening ceremony of the 30th Bábolna International Farmers' Days.
Czerván György recalled that the output of agriculture last year was 2453 billion HUF, 45.5 percent higher than in 2010. Agriculture employs 211 thousand workers. The number employees increased by 11 percent in a year in the sector. (MTI)
