Consumer sentiment in the United States improved in November
In the United States, consumer sentiment improved slightly less than expected, reaching a four-month peak in November, according to the University of Michigan’s survey.
The November University of Michigan consumer sentiment index rose from 95.9 points in October to 95.7 points, instead of the expected 95.9 points.
Consumer sentiment improved mainly due to a more favorable outlook for November, while respondents in the representative sample considered the current situation worse than before. (MTI)
