Hungarian R&D companies have better business environment as before
The in 2005 legislated innovation act helps to bring academic researches near to the practice. The spin-off and start-up firms are day to day more dynamic.
JEREMIE starts this year in Hungary.
There is around HUF 150 billion available in the program, and about
HUF 50 bn are to be invested into venture capital funds, which can
invigorate the whole private equity business. Jeremie is a Joint
European Resources for Micro to Medium Enterprises initiative, was
launched by the European Commission, the European Investment Bank
(EIB) and the European Investment Fund (EIF) to improve access to
finance by small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in EU regions.
There aren't correct datas about the
segment, but by guess the almost 150 R+D companies have total annual
revenue by HUF 10 billion.
