Economic sentiment improved in Germany and in the euro area in May
In May, German and euro area economic agents were much less pessimistic about market expectations, according to the Mannheim-based ZEW Economic Research Institute.

Economic sentiment in Germany and the euro area improves
The ZEW (Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung) economic sentiment in Germany rose to minus 34.3 points in May from a two-year low of minus 41.0 points in April. The market expected the index to improve less than it actually did. (MTI)
