Consumer sentiment in the United States improved in February
Consumer sentiment in the United States improved in February, according to a standard monthly survey by the University of Michigan.
According to final data released on Friday, the consumer sentiment index increased to 101.0 points from the 99.8 points of January. Analysts expected a slightly lower 100.9 points.
One year ago, in February 2019, the index stood at 93.8 points. (MTI)
