Consumer sentiment has improved in the United States
Consumer sentiment in the U.S. improved in December, according to a survey released Friday by the University of Michigan.

U.S. consumers become more optimistic
According to preliminary survey data, the consumer sentiment index rose to 70.4 points in December from 67.4 points of November.
A year earlier, the index stood at 80.7 points in December 2020, down from 12.8 percent in December. (MTI)
