Consumer sentiment improved in the United States
June’s consumer sentiment improved in the United States – the regular monthly survey of the University of Michigan revealed.
In June, the final consumer sentiment index increased to 98.2 points from the 98.0 points of May.
Analysts expected 99.2 final values for June.
Among the sub-indices, the consumer expectations for the next six months declined from the 89.1 points of May to 86.3 points in June, while the sub-index reflecting the current situation rose from 111.8 to 116.5 points. (MTI)
