The jury was able to evaluate a total of 40 entries: the absolute winner was the Hungarian Gaia, with a solution that can filter out users who come to websites with dishonest intentions, while the audience prize went to GeoSnatcher, which monitors suspicious transactions. In addition to the total prize money of nearly four million forints, the top 5 team also gained valuable professional contacts.

JunctionX Budapest took place between October 21 and 23
One of Europe’s most popular innovation competitions, JunctionX Budapest, again drew the attention of the international tech community to Hungary between October 21 and 23. The popularity of the 48-hour competition, in addition to the prize money of nearly nine thousand euros, is due to the fact that it focuses on innovation instead of program codes, and expects developments from both beginners and experienced participants that can be put into practice almost immediately and can even change the lives of millions.
