Improvement in the corporate atmosphere
Ecostat 's prosperity indexes improved in the past three months among the TOP-100 companies and among the medium-sized enterprises too.
Ecostat 's TOP-100 prosperity index of large enterprises increased by 15 percent to 64.5 percent during May 2009, compared to the 49.6 percent nadir of February. The confidence indexes of large enterprises lost much of their values since last September. The negative tendencies, however, stopped at the beginning of the year. In May, the prosperity index of small and medium enterprises improved with 8.2 percentage points since February and it is 62.5 percent actually. The business expectations of the large domestic-owned companies sharply decreased in the recent year but the improved results of the last quarter and of the last month, softened the steepness of the trend – reports Világgazdaság Online.
