The Hungarian Baths Association has developed a package of proposals for the restart of the bathing sector following the coronavirus pandemic, which was submitted to the Hungarian Tourism Agency and two ministries in connection with the economic protection action plan – Boros László Attila, President of the Hungarian Baths Association said.
He recalled that due to the pandemic, the Hungarian baths were among the first and got into crisis with extreme speed. In the year, which started well all over the country, most of the spas were already prepared for the summer high season, and then in mid-March the guest traffic disappeared in a few days. To protect staff and remaining guests, almost all spas were closed in one week and their revenues ceased. (MTI)
