Japan stops the distribution of the radiation polluted beef
The Japanese government plans to ban the distribution of beef shipments from Fukushima after it was found, that parts of the products are infected with radioactive cesium.
A total of 136 cattle was found to consumed a feed, which is from the rice-fields in the region of Fukushima. The rice was harvested shortly after the area was devastated by an earthquake and the tsunami was eliminated the cooling system, which led to the disaster of the local nuclear power plant – reports Világgazdaság Online, after BBC News.
