Japan is home to five million food and beverage vending machines

One of the first things that stands out to the tourist in Japan is that it is amazingly many vending machines can be found everywhere – origo wrote.

In Hungary, these are becoming less common, and in most European countries they are slowly becoming out of fashion, but in Japan this market continues to flourish, with a total of 5 million such vending machines in both cities and the countryside. (origo)
