Not all types of eggs will be under the five percent VAT rate
According to the parliament's decision, on 1 January 2017 the VAT on eggs and milk to be reduced. But not all types of eggs will be under the five percent VAT rate – the Ado.hu drew attention.
On the basis of the tax package, from January the 27 percent VAT rate of poultry meat, eggs and fresh milk will be reduced to 5 percent. However the Ado.hu – by referring to the official communication of the National Tax Authority (NAV) – wrote that the five percent rate will be used on the number 0407 eggs only. (by our colleague)
