Romanian retail sales increased by 12.5 percent in January and February
According to raw data, the volume of Romanian retail sales increased by 12.5 percent in the first two months of this year, compared to the same period of last year – the Romanian National Statistical Institute announced on Friday.
Seasonally and calendar-adjusted data showed an increase of 10.1 percent over the period under review. Sales of food, beverages and tobacco products accelerated 13 percent, with sales of non-food products up 12.7 percent, while sales of fuel increased 11 percent in January-February year-on-year. (MTI)
