Drastic Sales decreasing in Lithuanian
Sales at food retailers were down 10.2% year-on-year, while non-food retailers suffered more, with sales down 20.6%.
Sales at Lithuanian retailers in January slumped by 27.2% on
a year-on-year basis to 623.1m euros, according to the country’s Statistics
Department, even as they fell by 31.3% when compared to December.
Sales at catering companies fell by 13.5% year-on-year, while the production of
alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages was down by 53.1% when compared to
December.
