In January, the number of guest nights in Romania increased by almost 25 percent
The number of guest nights spent in commercial accommodation in Romania increased by almost 25 percent to 1.102 million in January compared to the first month last year, the Romanian National Statistics Institute announced on Tuesday.

The number of guest nights in January in Romania has increased by a quarter on an annual basis
Most of the guest nights, 981,000, were spent by domestic tourists, an increase of almost 17 percent. Commercial accommodation received 20 percent more, 578,700 guests, of which 526,200 were domestic and 52,500 were foreign guests. The latter spent 121,700, or 274 percent, more guest nights in commercial accommodation. (MTI)
