Annual inflation in Romania was 3.6 percent in January
In January, Romanian inflation was 3.6 percent higher than in the first month of last year, the Romanian National Institute of Statistics announced.
The increase in consumer prices was mainly attributable to food, which increased by 4.75 percent during the period under review. Service prices increased by 4 percent, while the non-food consumer price index was 2.68 percent. (MTI)
