A huge increase in German export of disinfectants
German disinfectant exports jumped 20 percent in January, compared to the average of the previous five years, according to a report of the Federal Bureau of Statistics, Destatis published on Thursday.
Germany imported 76.8 thousand tonnes of disinfectant in January for 212.5 million euros and exported 135.5 thousand tonnes for 353.3 million euros, making the country a net exporter of disinfectants with 58.7 thousand tonnes.
In the first month of the year, imports were 9 percent below the 2015-2019 average. (MTI)
