Romanian retail sales increased
The volume of Romanian retail sales grew by 8.3 percent in the first two months of this year, compared to the same period of last year – the Romanian National Statistical Institute published on Thursday.
According to the seasonally adjusted and calendar-adjusted value, the growth was 8.7 percent.
Growth was mainly due to non-food sales, which increased by 11.1 percent in the period under review. The volume of sales of food, beverages and tobacco grew by 8.2 percent, and fuel sales grew by 3.7 percent. (MTI)
