Household chemicals and cosmetics retail increased over 97 billion HUF in the January to April period
The retail value of household chemicals and cosmetics were more than 97 billion HUF in the January to April period this year, one percent more than in the same period of 2012. In terms of volume the Nielsen consumer information and knowledge services company registered a 5 percent decrease in a four-month comparison.
– At a number of products we experienced an above-average growth – Melisek Eszter, account director for Nielsen said. – For example, the domestic retail trade has achieved 2-7 percent more revenue in the sales of the most popular ten categories of chemicals, from the January-April period of 2012 to the January-April period of 2013 from the following items: toilet paper, fabric softener, detergent, toothpaste and deodorant.
