Jägermeister Orange: an ice-cold novelty with the aroma of Sicilian orange
1400 hours of Sicilian sunlight, 56 herbs and the aroma of three oranges in one bottle – Jägermeister Orange, the uniquely fresh and fruity, bright orange, light new version of the world-famous Jägermeister, is now available in Hungary.
This attractive new taste will make Jägermeister Orange fans of those who have only cautiously tasted the original, subtly smoky, bitter-herbal flavor of Jägermeister. The drink speciality burst into the Budapest night on Friday at the large-scale Jägermeister Orange Drop Party held at the Eiffel Workshop with the participation of top performers from domestic electronic music, hip-hop and rap. Jägermeister Orange will be on the shelves of retail chains from April. The vibrantly exciting, trendy new drink is based on the same 56 herbs, flowers, fruits and aromatic plant roots whose flavors and aromas give the original Jägermeister its character. The alcoholic solution of these ingredients is aged for several months in high-quality oak barrels, and then combined with 100% natural orange and mandarin essences to create this crystal-clear orange-colored and explosively orange-flavored distillate.
The secret of this alcoholic specialty, recommended ice-cold, is the essential oil of the peel of organically grown oranges and mandarins from Sicily. A bottle of Jägermeister Orange contains the aromas of at least three ripe and sweet oranges. The volcanic soil of the orange groves near Palermo, the frost-free Mediterranean climate, and the extremely high amount of sunshine (1,400 hours per year) guarantee the fantastically intense flavor and aroma of the fruits.
Jägermeister Orange opens a new chapter in the history of the world-famous herbal liqueur, created 90 years ago: it can be this year’s favorite either on its own, chilled to 18 degrees, consumed as an ice-cold shot, or as a harmonious ingredient in creative cocktails and long drinks.
