Flavors, experiences, awareness: A free gastronomic adventure at the Water, Music, Flower Festival
Two major Hungarian festivals, the Water, Music, Flower Festival (VZV) and MentesFeszt, have entered into a strategic partnership, resulting in the launch of the MentesFeszt Village in 2025 – a unique, health-conscious festival island in the heart of Tata, on the shores of the beautiful Öreg Lake. The new initiative is implemented in the spirit of sustainability, experience-based awareness and closeness to nature, bringing a new color to the Hungarian festival palette.
The MentesFeszt Village will debut between June 27-29, 2025 as part of the Water, Music, Flower Festival, which has been one of the most popular cultural and musical events of the Tata summer for decades. The aim of the current collaboration is to present deeper content in addition to joyful relaxation – with particular attention to physical and mental well-being, environmental awareness and a healthy lifestyle.
“The VZV has always been a celebration of nature, music and joy – now it is accompanied by health awareness and shared responsibility. In the MentesFeszt village, visitors can encounter real values in addition to entertainment”
– emphasized Jakab Jácint, the main organizer of the Water, Music, Flowers festival.
In the MentesFeszt village, visitors can encounter free food specialties, exhibitors presenting environmentally friendly products, as well as interactive workshops, thematic presentations and inspiring conversations. The programs offer meaningful and entertaining experiences for all ages – whether it is about nutrition, physical and mental balance or environmental responsibility.
According to Zsolt Oltványi, the founder of MentesFeszt, the festival is a real opportunity to shape attitudes.
“This shared space gives us the opportunity to show that awareness is not a sacrifice, but an experience. Festivalgoers can recharge, be inspired, and take away something that goes beyond the weekend.”
The MentesFeszt village functions as both a thematic zone and a symbolic space: here the festival’s floral motif meets health-conscious thinking, carrying a unified message – for a shared future in which nature, culture, and people can coexist in harmony.
