We have to queue more as average in Europe
In Hungary normally 8 people stand infront of us in the line, it is 3-4 in Europe. In our country people have to wait minimum 5 minuts to arrange, the European average are 3-4 minuts.
The Mystery Shopping Providers
Association (MSPA) has released a survey in 21 European countries, on
2552 places in April. In Hungary Budapest and 7 bigger cities on the
countryside take part in the survey. The mystery shoppers went to
food store, pharmacy, bank, pub and railway station.
According to the survey people have to
wait the less in Austria, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark and Ireland.
Every where in Europe people have to wait the most in the postoffice,
the average time was 35 minutes, also in Hungary.
The longest waiting time had the
mystery shopper in Milan, where he has to wait 1 hour and 50 miniutes
at the railway station, 118 people queued.
22% of the units do something to short
the waiting time, the best idea was opening new desks.
