This is where the social debate is about the KAP’s environmental assessment document
Nearly three years of planning work may come to an end at the beginning of October, when the proposals received for the environmental assessment document of the Common Agricultural Policy Strategic Plan will be incorporated into the final document. In mid-September, the Ministry of Agriculture released the guidelines for agricultural producers for public debate in the coming years, with the deadline for opinions being October 3, 2022.
Anikó Juhász, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, welcomed the meeting, where representatives of the social organizations concerned could express their opinions on the environmental assessment document of the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy. In accordance with the legislation, the ministry commissioned a strategic environmental assessment of the plan, the purpose of which is to reveal the possible environmental effects of the plan and to make recommendations for the validation of environmental and sustainability aspects in the programming and implementation process.
The environmental report was completed in the investigation, which can be viewed and commented on at https://mtvsz.hu/kap-strategia-kornyezeti-vizsgalata.
