JYSK’s 99th Hungarian store opens here
Store openings are regular at the JYSK retail store chain, the company has already opened four new stores in Hungary in the 2023/2024 financial year – in Szarvas, Kispest, Bicské and Várpalota. And on August 28, another store will open its doors: the 99th JYSK store in Hungary will be handed over in Budapest, in TESCO on Váci út. In addition to the openings, the older stores are also constantly being renewed, globally more than 3,300 stores will operate according to JYSK’s new concept of sustainability and efficiency by the end of 2024.
JYSK continues to expand in Hungary, a new store will open its doors at the end of August. Together with the Váci út unit in Budapest, the company already has 99 stores in the country. At the beginning of the year, a store was opened in Várpalota and Bicské, and in November last year a new store was handed over in Kispest and Szarvas.
“We are planning to open two more stores by the end of 2024, covering even more the entire country with JYSK stores. We consider it important to be within easy reach of our customers both in the capital and in the countryside. That is why, during expansion and store openings, we always try to keep in mind the areas where the opening of a new JYSK store can fill the gaps”
– said Sándor Szimeiszter, JYSK country director responsible for Hungary, Austria and Greece.
