IKEA’s Christmas calendar is here: Price increases and surprises
IKEA’s Christmas calendar, “Vintersaga”, is also available this year in IKEA stores in Hungary. The price of the advent calendar has risen significantly in 2024: while last year it could be purchased for HUF 3,990, this year it costs HUF 4,990 at full price, which means a 25 percent increase in price. However, IKEA Family members can purchase the product at a discounted price of HUF 4,290.
The calendar hides delicious chocolates behind most of the tabs, but behind some doors, additional surprises await customers. Two gift cards worth at least HUF 1,250 each were hidden in last year’s calendar, but this year it has not yet been announced whether the value of the discounts has changed in parallel with the increase in prices, the Money Center reports.
It is important to know that the Christmas calendar is only available in IKEA stores, it is not possible to order online. Buyers should hurry, as experience from previous years shows that calendars sell out quickly and are often not worth the stock advertised until December 31.
IKEA’s Christmas calendar is an ideal choice not only for sweets lovers, but also for those who like to receive surprises, and even gift cards can make the product attractive.
