The National Public Health Service is prepared for the beach season
Most of the pools complied with the requirements of public health. On the basis of the bacteriological tests, 16 percent of the older type, fill and drain pools, and 94 percent of the new pools with recirculator received proper certification – the National Public Health and Medical Officer Service (ÁNTSZ) told MTI on Wednesday.
According to the Chief Medical Officer, currently 575 public bathing pools are operating in the country. Three hundred of them are operating seasonally. Until the beginning of the season almost half of the baths were checked, while the testing of the pools opening in June, it is still ongoing. (MTI)
