Here is the shopping list! The new function is now available in the Price Monitor
The online Price Monitor operated by the Economic Competition Authority (GVH) has been expanded with a multi-functional, freely compiled and shareable shopping list – this was announced by Balázs Csaba Rigó, the president of the national competition authority, in a conversation now available on the GVH Podcast channel. The new function may further increase market competition, so it is expected that food prices will continue to fall, which will contribute to breaking down inflation. The working group that created Price Monitor is constantly working on further functional developments, and the expansion of product categories is also expected in the near future.
The working group developing the online Price Monitor is constantly working on the further development of the system, taking into account consumer feedback. From now on, the Price Watcher also gives visitors the opportunity to compile their own shopping list, the value of which can be monitored daily. So you no longer have to spend a lot of time comparing prices before your usual shopping, because the system provides all the necessary information in one place. The new function can encourage retail chains to compete further on a daily basis by making the prices of individual stores even better than before, thus significantly contributing to the gradual reduction of inflation.
