ITM: successful Hungarian stand for domestic carriers
The firm action of the Hungarian delegation prevented the increase of the quota of carriers from countries outside the European Union at the Annual Transport Summit of the International Transport Forum (ITF) on Thursday in Leipzig – the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) told MTI.
According to the announcement, the panel has sent the issue to expert level, which may be decided at the earliest of one year after the agreement of the member states.
The Paris-based ITF is responsible, among other things, for decisions on CEMT multilateral freight licenses as well. (MTI)
