ITM: heavy controls by the consumer protection authority
This year, the webshop will be heavily controlled by the Consumer Protection Authority and the IT lab of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, and will be monitored throughout November – Keszthelyi Nikoletta, Deputy Minister of State of ITM said at a press conference in Budapest on Wednesday.
During the Christmas season, traditional stores are also heavily controlled, he added.
He said that on the basis of the official controls so far, the procedure has been opened due to misleading advertisements and there were shortcomings in the pricing. Delayed deliveries have also occurred on the basis of trial purchases; (MTI)
