ITM’s performance in Hungary in terms of network coverage and Internet use has improved

Hungary’s performance in network coverage and Internet use has improved significantly, according to a report from the European Commission, the Deputy State Secretary for Infocommunications of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) told M1 news channel on Mondayl.

Solymár Károly Balázs explained that the country jumped from 16th to 7th place in terms of access to broadband wired and wireless network, from 19th place to 14th place in Internet use in one year. In 5G readiness Hungary is on third place in Europe. Online social networking and news sites are most frequently visited by Hungarians, and in addition sixty percent of Internet users also shop and bank.
