ITM Minister of State: 119,000 applications were received for household appliance replacement

The home warmth household appliance replacement program has received 119,000 applications, of which 40,000 have been criticized and all have received support – Weingartner Balázs, Minister of State of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) told M1 news channel on Friday.

The Minister of State recalled that the sub-program was announced with a budget of 2 billion forints, which was well above the demands, but decided to raise the frame instead of stopping the tender. In this way, 119 thousand tenders were received, with a subsidy of 5 billion HUF. (MTI)
