ITM Minister of State: consumer protection keeps the safety of families and the protection of fair businesses in mind
As in recent years, consumer safety and the protection of fair businesses remain in the focus of consumer protection in 2019 – Kara Ákos, Minister of State of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) told at a press conference in Budapest on Tuesday.
He emphasized that the focus of consumer protection controls is on e-commerce, and more than 1,700 webshop have been investigated in the framework of official controls, which has reduced the number of infringements to one quarter. (MTI)
