ITM: A third of the shops surveyed made a price indication error last year
Last year, consumer protection inspected the price display and application practices of about five thousand stores, and specialists found deficiencies at nearly 1,700 locations – the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) told MTI on Tuesday, adding that the rules for displaying special prices will be tightened next year.
In terms of products, the ratio was much more favorable: only 3 percent of the 600,000 goods examined had an objection. To prevent consumers from being misled, inspections continue from January. (MTI)
