ITM: consumer protection can control the entire supply chain from the end of the summer
The amendment of the sectoral law adopted on Tuesday significantly expands the control possibilities of the consumer protection authority.
In the future, the authority will not only be able to take action against the seller who has a direct contractual relationship with the consumer, professionals can inspect the warehouse, the wholesaler, the importer and the manufacturer in addition to the retailer – the Ministry told MTI on Tuesday.
