ITM: consumer protection is a central element in protecting families
The government considers the protection of families to be a central element of consumer protection, and therefore continues to strictly control the products placed on the market, the Deputy State Secretary for Consumer Protection of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) said at a press conference on Children’s Day in Budapest on Friday.
According to Keszthelyi Nikoletta, the safety of families also includes meeting only safe products in shops and online stores, and not falling victim to deception. In times of epidemic threat, inspections of childcare and products for children are particularly important, which is why the authorities have increased inspections in recent weeks. (MTI)
