Alcoa bought a beverage can manufacturer

The world's largest aluminum industrial company the U.S. Alcoa acquire total control in the world's largest aluminum drink can manufacturer the U.S. Evermore Recycling, by buying out the company’s previous partner the Novelis.

The agreement signed recently enters into force from the 31^st of August. To produce new aluminum boxes, from used ones uses 95 percent less energy than the primary production of metals. (Világgazdaság Online)
