Italian gastronomic guide: Italian cuisine never been so good
The Italian gastronomic guide classifying the best Italian restaurants will only be published during the autumn, but the La Repubblica newspaper has published this year's results: the cuisine of the northern Piedmont region and the southern Campania region topped the list. The best restaurants became the Combal.Zero in Rivoli, close to Turin.
The L'Espresso’s restaurant guide that will be published in October will classify 2700 restaurants.
According to La Repubblica, the food of this year was cooked in Florence’s Palagio restaurant by Vito Mollica. The name of the dish is Cavatelli cacio e pepe and its uniqueness is that the cook flavors the pasta sprinkled with traditional cheese and pepper with crayfish. (Sárközy Júlia, MTI)
