Islamic pub

The first Islamic pub opened recently in Oldham is a good example of different cultures mixing. Halal Inn has everything we expect to see in a traditional British Pub, like darts or loud music, but there is one big difference: no alcoholic drinks are served. The two Muslim owners believe that Muslims also need a place to socialise, but feel uncomfortable in a beer-addicted environment.
