Budapest once again competes for the best European destination

Once again, the capital will compete for the best European destination among the top 20: between 15 January and 5 February, anyone can vote for Budapest at the voting of the European Best Destination organization – the Budapest Festival and Tourism Center (BFTK) told MTI on Tuesday.

The competition is announced by the European Best Destinations organization for 11 years, working closely with the largest tourist offices in the continent.

Budapest made its debut in 2018 and immediately won 8th place ahead of Lisbon, Paris, Amsterdam, Prague, Vienna, Barcelona and London with a total of 17,745 votes.
