Germany authorized the sale of genetically modified MON810 corn
The move comes after the US maker of genetically modified seeds filed a study on the environmental effects of the product.
Germany will lift a preliminary marketing ban it imposed on Monsanto Co's genetically modified corn seed MON810 in January, the country's office on consumer protection and food safety said.
