Spice paprika is produced again in the region of Mórahalom

The cooperation of the Kotányi spice trading company, the Fűszermalom Kft. (Spice Mill Ltd.) and the local government proved to be successful; the paprika cultivation in the Mórahalom region has revived.

In the first year, about 50 tons of high-quality grist was produced from the harvested crop – Nógrádi Zoltán (Fidesz) mayor of Mórahalom said on Friday.

The city and the otányi spice trading company agreed in March to cooperate in order to boost the Szegedi spice paprika-growing, – the politician said at the evaluation meeting of the first results of the initiative. (MTI)
