The number of air passengers in the United States set a record once again
The TSA said that the number of passengers opting for aviation reached 90 percent compared to the same period in 2019, when there was no coronavirus outbreak in America. On Sunday, 1.86 million passengers were checked in at U.S. airports, while on the same day in 2019, 2.1 million passengers traveled by plane. In 2020, this Sunday, when the pandemic plunged aviation into a major crisis, only 267,000 passengers were registered. (MTI)
