Large companies joined their forces once again
After the red sludge disaster early October, several companies helped the victims with donations. Kométa donated food products that were transported for free by Szemerey Trans. Unilever gave cleaning and food products, while dm drogerie markt donated in the value of HUF 5 million. Procter & Gamble gave money and products that is worth HUF 21 million. Tetra Pak offered HUF 2.5 million, Tesco donated products and collected HUF 19 million through coupons. Purina gave pet food in the value of HUF 20 million, Kékkúti Ásványvíz Zrt. helped with 20,000 bottles of mineral water. Having donated products earlier, this time METRO provided the base material for a charity dinner to help the residents of Kolontár.
