Peppers grown in Mórahalom for Kotányi
The municipality of Mórahalom, Austrian spice company Kotányi and Fűszermalom Kft. have signed a cooperation agreement: 40 hectares of land will be used in Mórahalom to grow seasoning pepper for Kotányi. The agreement creates jobs for 40 families. Family-owned Kotányi is one of the biggest spice companies in Central Europe, which is present in Austria, Hungary, Russia, Slovenia, in the Czech Republic and 15 other countries. The international holding’s annual sales amount to EUR 138 million.
