The European Championship and Exhibition of Guppy Breeders is being held in Hungary again

Foreign guests are also expected at the event, including several leaders of the international association – he added. The president of the association emphasized that guppy breeding has a tradition of several decades in Europe, the first competition was organized in Germany in 1954. The number of Hungarian competitive guppy breeders has increased significantly in recent years, their work has attracted the attention of the international profession, thanks to which the Hungarian Association of Aquarists has once again been given the opportunity to organize the European Championship. According to the association, there are hundreds of thousands of ornamental fish hobbyists in Hungary, and a few hundred businesses are engaged in ornamental fish breeding.
